Benjamin Dube is a South African gospel singer, songwriter, TV personality, music producer, and pastor. He serves as the senior pastor of the High Praise Centre located east of Johannesburg in Voslorus.

Benjamin Dube Career
Dube is a renowned gospel singer and songwriter who rose to prominence in the 80’s. He began to play the bass guitar and drums at the age of eleven. They started out as the Dube Family Singers, a church choir, but sadly, his father passed away.
The Dube Family Singers, however, carried on their father’s tradition and visited the Netherlands despite this tragic event. The album “Vader Vergeef he then,” which translates to “Father Forgive Them,” was inspired by the tale of his father’s murder. Additionally, In 1980, he started a high school vocal ensemble named “Share The Good News.”
Moreover, he entered and thankfully won a SABC talent hunt. When Dube recorded “HOLY SPIRIT” with Benjamin and The Youth Choir in 1986, he embarked on his preaching career. Since then, he has paved the way for his ministry career and recorded several songs as a solo artist.
Furthermore, due to the popularity of the song “HOLY SPIRIT,” he became well-known in South Africa. In 1988, he collaborated with Lucky Dube on the song “Ebenezer” and was asked to accompany American gospel musician James Cleveland on his tour of South Africa. Later on, he went on a US tour and performed alongside Andre Crouch, among others.
