Eubanks is a renowned DJ, TV personality, and game show host best known for hosting The Newlywed Game. The game show was an instant hit upon its premiere, and the show’s popularity prompted the network to expand the prime-time roster, where it had previously aired for five years. He rose to prominence for bringing a youthful energy to daytime television.

The Newlywed Game was also recognised as one of the top three daytime game programmes for five straight seasons. During the show, he was known for employing the slogan “makin’ whoopee” in relation to sexual intercourse. It is known that he stole the term from a song in an attempt to spare parents with young children from having to explain the truths of life because of a television show.

Moreover, after hosting Newlywed Game, he went on to host Rhyme and Reason, Card Sharks, Dream House, and The Diamond Head Game. Likewise, he also tried out for the daytime edition of Wheel of Fortune on CBS, but Bob Goen was picked instead. Notably, he was hired by CBS to host a reimagined version of the show Card Sharks.

Furthermore, he appeared as a special guest alongside Jim Perry on the original NBC edition to promote his 1979 game show All Star Secrets. In addition, he has hosted or co-hosted all five Most Outrageous Game Show Moments specials on NBC. He was also one of three rotating hosts of the “$250,000 Game Show Spectacular” at the Las Vegas Hilton, until the event stopped in April 2008.
