Additionally, she worked at WNYT for 17 years as well.While there, she covered the bombing of Atlanta’s Olympic Park, for which she was recognised with a 1997 New York Emmy Award.Jansing began using the last name Jansing professionally after joining NBC News in June 1998, replacing her maiden name of Kapostasy.
