Deitrick is a vastly recognized gospel singer and songwriter whose songs are characterized with progressive gospel styles of music. It is known that his Lost & Found song launched his solo career as a Christian R&B vocalist.
Most noteworthy, he has been signed with Verity Records where he released his Church on the Moon album. As a result, it ranked at No. 65 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Billboards Top Gospel charts. He featured Mary Mary and Ruben Studdard in his Love Him Like I Do single from the Revealed album.
Likewise, he collaborated with Voices of Unity in the release of Live the Life for which they received Gospel Music Workshop of America Excellence Awards. Furthermore, he is an actor who was a cast in the 2004 Higher Ground: Voices of Contemporary Gospel Music.
