On July 6, 2020, Georgia and Audrey lost their mother after succumbing to colon cancer near Seattle, Washington, U.S. Later, her long-time friend, and attorney said that Kay had also been in hospice care for the past month, and as well Vili had been by her side … assisting take care of her.
Before, their father, Fualaau had as well shared Letourneau’s stage 4 cancer diagnosis on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself wearing a medical mask together with the caption, “Praying for a miracle.”
Georgia Fualaau’s Career
In 1997, her mother famously worked her time in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of felony second-degree rape of a child (Fualaau then 12-year old sixth-grade student). Furthermore, the state sought a six-and-a-half-year prison sentence but she reached a plea agreement calling for six months in jail, along with three months suspended, and also no contact with Fualaau for life among other terms.
After being in jail for a period of 3 months, Letourneau was released and despite their no-contact order, the two were caught by police in a car. The judge revoked the plea agreement and her prison sentence was reinstated after the incident. Likewise, she had to serve the maximum allowed by law of seven-and-a-half years.
