His films piqued the interest of the theatre world, including two agencies who were eager to sign him. During the 2015 Tony Awards, he worked as a correspondent for Perez Hilton and was mentioned in the show’s opening number.
Additionally, in January 2017, he appeared in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit called “Chasing Theo” as a little kidnapped boy named Theo Lachere. He then starred in Impractical Jokers “Look Out Below.” That same year, he appeared in the film Our Souls at Night, in which he co-starred with Jane Fonda and Robert Redford.
Moreover, he was cast as Sheldon Cooper as a youngster in Young Sheldon, a prequel to the sitcom The Big Bang Theory, in 2017. In December 2018, he featured in an episode of The Big Bang Theory as a young Sheldon on a videotape recording intended to cheer up and encourage an older Sheldon. He also appeared as Ziggy Chapman, in the HBO miniseries Big Little Lies.
Furthermore, he played a young Shaggy Rogers in the Scooby-Doo flick Scoob! in 2020. He was slated to reprise the role in the film Scoob: Holiday Haunt, which was set to premiere on HBO Max in late 2022, but it was cancelled in August 2022. It is known that he replaced Justin Paul Keelly from the Nickelodeon television series in PAW Patrol: The Movie in 2021.
