Mark Millar is a Scottish Scottish comic book writer known for book series such as Kick-Ass and The Ultimates 2. Likewise, he was the writer of The Evening Times newspaper column. He was the member of the 2013 Most Excellent Order of the British Empire to film and literature.

Millar is a vastly recognized comic book writer known for his work in the Marvel 1985 mini-series. He collaborated with the Ultimate Universe for the release of the Ultimate Comics: Avengers banner in 2009. Afterward, he launched the CLiNT pop culture-themed magazine with the Titan Publishing Group in 2010.

Likewise, he wrote the Superman Adventures all-ages comic featuring Superman: The Animated Series’ continuity stories. As a result, he was nominated for two Eisner Awards with his work receiving acclaims from DC Comics.

Most noteworthy, he created an unified label titled the Millarworld which would be for his future creator-owned comics in 2013. During this time, he released several comic books including Chosen, The Unfunnies, and Wanted.
