Millar is a vastly recognized comic book writer known for his work in the Marvel 1985 mini-series. He collaborated with the Ultimate Universe for the release of the Ultimate Comics: Avengers banner in 2009. Afterward, he launched the CLiNT pop culture-themed magazine with the Titan Publishing Group in 2010.
Likewise, he wrote the Superman Adventures all-ages comic featuring Superman: The Animated Series’ continuity stories. As a result, he was nominated for two Eisner Awards with his work receiving acclaims from DC Comics.
Most noteworthy, he created an unified label titled the Millarworld which would be for his future creator-owned comics in 2013. During this time, he released several comic books including Chosen, The Unfunnies, and Wanted.
Furthermore, he released the Civil War 7-issue mini-series after the renewal of his contract in 2006 with Marvel. Citing this, he was honored with the Harvey Award in the category of Best Single Issue or Story in 2007.
