Campbell is a famous actress who gained recognition for her roles in the television films The Canterville Ghost and the drama series Catwalk. She later appeared in the Fox youth drama series Party of Five as Julia Salinger. Her breakthrough performance led to her becoming a teen idol and a nomination for the Teen Choice Award’s Choice TV Actress category.

Most notably, in 1996, she starred in The Craft, an eerie blockbuster that was her first American feature film. She gained enormous international recognition at this period of time for her role as Sidney Prescott in Wes Craven’s horror picture Scream. Due to the success of the movie, she was recast in the second (1997), third (2000), fourth (2011), and fifth (2022) Scream movies, a 25-year run.

Moreover, Scream earned her several awards, including two Blockbuster Entertainment Awards for Best Actress.
