Saphier’s Career

Saphier finished a five-year radiology residency at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems in Arizona following his 2008 graduation from Ross University School of Medicine. With a focus on breast imaging, Saphier finished an Oncologic Imaging Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic Arizona after completing his residency.

Saphier is a member of the Advisory Committee on Breast Cancer in Young Women at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. She currently resides in New Jersey and serves on the Radiological Society of New Jersey’s legislative and executive committees. She also serves on the advisory council for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Jersey Department of Health.

For a number of television news networks, including Fox News Channel, Saphier has contributed medical content. She frequently appears on panel TV shows like Fox & Friends, Outnumbered, Hannity, Mornings with Maria, The Big Weekend Show, Fox News Saturday Night, and The Five as a guest or host.

The national bestseller, Make America Healthy Again: How Bad Behavior and Big Government Caused a Trillion Dollar Crisis, was written by Saphier. In the book, Saphier makes the argument that “we can lower the exorbitant cost of treatment by becoming healthier.” We need to take better care of ourselves; we don’t need socialized medicine.

In her book Panic Attack: Playing Politics with Science in the Fight Against COVID-19, she also makes the argument that politicians have misrepresented the science around the virus to harm their opponents.
