Sajak is a renowned television personality who began his career working at a local radio station. Likewise, he served as a disk jockey on the Armed forces Radio in Vietnam. He later joined Nashville’s 50,000-watt WSM as a DJ, where he mostly played pop music and served as an afternoon personality.
Additionally, in the early 1970’s he served as a disk jockey for Murray, Kentucky radio station. That same year he was given a voice-over role on the show ‘Today’ on NBC. Afterward he worked for ‘KNBC-TV’ in the late 1970s as weatherman.
Moreover, he was offered an opportunity to be the host of the widely known game show Wheel of Fortune. Previously, he had hosted two other game shows which are ‘Press Your Luck’ and ‘Puzzlers’. He also served as a newscaster in the film ‘Aeroplane II: The Sequel’.
Furthermore, due to his extensive experience as a broadcaster he formed his own puzzle game ‘Lucky Letters’ in 2007. Similarly, he appeared on Dan le Batard’s radio shows ‘The Dan le Batard Show with Stugotz’ and ‘Highly Questionable’.
