Fowler’s Fox News

Former presenter of the nationally syndicated radio show Fowler Show, Fowler is now well-known for his contributions to Forbes and BET.com. Issues and subjects that are at the nexus of culture, policymaking, and societal transformation have been illuminated by his long-form storytelling.

With over ten and a half years of journalism and media experience, Fowler’s work has been broadcast on television, in print, and on radio to millions of homes. Fowler’s narrative expertise has been used by foundations, charities, corporate brands, elected officials, and local governments to create engagement plans for their more diversified audiences.

Fowler’s work as a storyteller began seriously when he became involved in political action in his native state of Florida, where he participated on multiple statewide electoral campaigns. Fowler is a proud Jamaican American, with both parents from the Caribbean nation.

Since then, he has advocated for social equality for working families, communities of color, and young people both publicly and privately. His efforts have helped put elected officials, educators, and frontline healthcare professionals at the forefront of the growing electorate.

Fowler has held the positions of Chairman of the Center for Black Equity and Senior Media Fellow for the New Leader’s Council. In both positions, Richard used his storytelling background to teach and prepare millennials to be community advocates.
