Smokie Norful is an American gospel singer and pianist best known for his 2004 release, Nothing Without You, which received a Grammy at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album.

Norful was ordained as an elder and licenced as a preacher in 1997. Afterward, he began working as a youth pastor, music minister, and associate minister at St. John AME Church in Pine Bluff. Likewise, he also worked as a worship leader for the AME church’s connectional youth department on a global scale.
Additionally, he is currently the pastor of the Victory Cathedral Worship Centre in Bolingbrook. He officially opened Victory Cathedral Worship Centre in Bolingbrook in September 2005. In addition, the church has seen tremendous growth in the community since its inception.
Moreover, on September 28, 2008, he opened a second school on Chicago’s south side, which has grown in a similar manner. Currently, he is an internationally renowned musician, recording artist, and composer. Furthermore, his initial albums, I Need You Now and Smokie Norful Limited Edition, earned him worldwide acclaim.
