Tim Gunn is an American author, scholar, and television personality best recognised for his position as an on-air counsel to Project Runway designers. Likewise, he also taught at Parsons School of Design, where he was the chair of fashion design.

He is credited with “retooling and revitalising the curriculum for the twenty-first century.” Previously, he appeared on Project Runway in 2004, and is most known for his tagline “Make it work.”
Additionally, he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Programme in 2013. Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style, a reality show in which he dispenses fashion advice, premiered on the Bravo television network in September 2007. This show aired 16 episodes over the course of two seasons.
Moreover, he hosted a single 13-episode season of Lifetime’s Under the Gunn beginning in January 2014. Similarly, he is a Project Runway: Junior executive producer and also serves as a mentor to the teen designers. It is known that he guest starred as himself in an episode of Drop Dead Diva in August 2009.
Furthermore, he left Parsons to become the chief creative officer of Liz Claiborne, Inc. In addition, in April 2007, he released his book A Guide to Quality, Taste, and Style, which he co-wrote with Kate Moloney.
