Duplantis is a renowned preacher best known as the founder of Jesse Duplantis Ministries. During his first evangelical assignment, he was dubbed “The Apostle of Joy” by John Hagee on the Trinity Broadcast Network’s Sermon in 1976. Within two years of his initial ministry, his religious activities escalated to the point that he became a full-time minister of God.
Additionally, he created Jesse Duplantis Ministries (JDM), which has now expanded to include branches in the United Kingdom and Australia. He used television to increase his effectiveness as a preacher, and by the mid-1990s, his evangelist lectures were popular on numerous TV networks. Likewise, he regularly appeared on several Trinity Broadcasting Networks (TBN); from 1992 to 2015.
Moreover, he hosted a television programme called “Praise the Lord,” and from 2004 to 2014. He also appeared on “Believer’s Voice of Victory” over 20 times, as well as being a guest on “The Joni Show” in 2015 and hosting “It’s Supernatural” in 2018. Similarly, he has appeared on secular television networks such as ABC, CBS, and NBC, among others.
Furthermore, he is on the Board of Regents at Oral Robert University, where he received a Doctorate of Divinity in 1999. He is a member of various Christian organisations, including Christian United for Israel.
