In 2007, he was instated into Omicron Delta Kappa at Concordia University Irvine. Likewise, due to his influence on Wesleyan Church, the Maxwell Centre for Business and Leadership was established in his honour.
Previously, in 2010, he addressed several times at the NAA Leadership Conference. It is known that he was the public speaker at the Symmetry Financial Group National Conference in 2018. Additionally, he is a recipient of the Golden Gavel awarded to him by Toastmasters International in 2012.
Moreover, three of his books, Cultivating the Leader Within You, The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader, and The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, have grossed over a million copies. In the 1970s, he directed churches in California, Florida, and Indiana. In addition, after 14 years as a pastor at Skyline Church, he opted to live in 1995.
Furthermore, he served as a teaching pastor for Christ Fellowship congregational ministry in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He began serving as a guest pastor at Crystal Cathedral in Orange County, California in 2008. During this time, he preached several times and his sermons were aired live on the TV programme Hour of Power.
