Winston is a renowned preacher popularly known as the founder of Living Word Christian Centre, a non-denominational church in Forest Park, Illinois. He began his ministry journey in 1988, where he established a small ministry together with his wife. Every weekend, they made the two-day Faith Crusades trip to Chicago, where less than twenty people showed up.
Additionally, he started a Bible training school, holding services in the Chicago Quality Inn Hotel, located at the intersection of Madison and Halsted Streets. It changed its name to the “Living Word Church of Chicago” in 1989. Afterward, the name was changed to “Living Word Christian Centre” in 1990.
Moreover, the church hired the Chez Roué Banquet Hall in Forest Park, Illinois, for services from 1994 to 1997. The church then had its inaugural worship service at the 33-acre Forest Park Mall on New Year’s Eve of 1997 after purchasing the mall as the ministry flourished. Since then, the church’s worship space has grown to become a multimillion-dollar, cutting-edge facility.
Furthermore, before starting his ministry journey, he spent six years serving for the US Air Force. Similarly, he worked as a Regional Marketing Manager at IBM Corporation in January 1973. During this time, he became spiritually “born again” and sensed a call from God to enter full-time ministry.
